Interactive Voting Experience

Fans and brand followers are presented with a feed of brush swatches from which they can click on, select and submit their vote to bring their favorite shades back from the vault.

A user’s retired shade vote is captured and a pop-up is presented to the user with recommended shades that are shoppable and close in color to their votes. user’s emails are captured to receive back-in-stock notifications.

The retired shades page launched in September 2018 to support the OPI fan favorites collection, a collection of 6 retired cult-favorite shades that were brought back by popular demand.

Formula Finder Quiz

Created for opi products the Formula Finder quiz is an interactive experience meant to guide a user in finding the nail polish formula that will best suit their lifestyle and manicure needs.

The quiz was created in collaboration with in-house digital designers, education and brand marketing teams to ensure all product claims and association with questions were accurate. digitally the formula finder was launched across all platforms via Instagram stories, email blast and homepage features.

The formula finder quiz was launched in august of 2018 in support of OPI’s gelcolor commercial initiative - welcoming 23 new shades to the gel nail polish portfolio.

The OPI Nail Clinic

The first interactive quiz to be developed for opi in march 2018.

The opi nail clinic is in an interactive guide where users are asked questions about their current nail health and concerns ending with a recommended nail treatment line as a result. the experience was created to launch in line with opi’s new infinite shine treatment primers for nails while also helping build awareness of core base business treatments.

Each step of the guide is enriched with seo keywords helping the brand win in search for nail health. the campaign to launch the guide included features in Instagram stories, email blast and a new blog series for opi “nails 101” to help win in SEO.

Nail Art Guide

OPI’s goal to be #1 in nail art was supported through this SEO keyword-rich experience. unlike the other interactive quizzes and guides, the OPI nail art guide surfaces trending nail art designs and techniques instead of focusing on a product.

Users can filter nail art looks by trend or preferred color palette. after selecting their preference, the user is guided to click into a pop-up window that presents various nail art options they can achieve at home. alternatively, the user is given the option of nail art looks created with salon-only products they can request from their nail tech.
